But the truth is… pokes fun at everyone! Our mission is to call out all kinds of pretenders. Why you ask? Because we think it’s funny.
We’re not making a statement or playing favorites. All we’re trying to do is have some fun.
But the truth is… is only for people with an abstract sense of humor. If you can play out the scenarios that we describe in your head, you’ll probably get what we’re saying. On the other hand, if you’re an absolutist that can only appreciate things that are 100% accurate and proven by clinical trials, this site is your worst nightmare.
To make people laugh, we’re willing to stretch the truth. In fact, we’ll fabricate everything! This is a humor blog, so we do it with a clear conscience. What’s more, we allow other bloggers to participate. They have the freedom to post their own “truths” about why people do things, and we don’t filter them.
So, if you’re hyper-sensitive or suffering from a complex, you might want to leave this site. If you don’t, it’s only a matter of time before you get mad at us. Then you’ll send us hate mail, and we’ll have to stick pins in this voodoo doll we made of you.
