Their life is just fine, but they think having issues makes them look cool.

People wear “I love NY” shirts.

But the truth is…

Most of those people have never even been to New York.  They only wear the shirts to look cool.

People hate hanging out with stuck up people.

But the truth is…

Stuck up people are cool in one respect.  They’re the least likely to hate on you.  They’re too wrapped up into themselves to even care about what you’re doing.

A friend asks what you’re up to…and you tell them. Their response? “Cool.”

But the truth is…

When they asked “what’s up?” they didn’t expect you to give a real answer.  So they pretend to be interested by saying “cool,” which means “Whatever, let’s move on to what I want to talk about.”

Some people never get excited about anything.

But the truth is…

They get excited like everyone else, but they have to show restraint in order to look cool.  Being cool is more important than enjoying themselves.  Go figure.

People say they “don’t care what other people think”.

But the truth is…

That statement, along with their “rebel” hair style and “rebel” tattoos, is the opposite of being a rebel and not caring what people think.  It’s giving in to other people’s idea of “cool”.
