I wish I could tell you that this blog has a purpose, but honestly, I can’t.  All I can tell you is why I decided to create it.

First off all, you need to know two things about me.  I don’t like phony people…and I’ve always tried to please everyone.  That’s a bad combination, because I wound up trying to please a lot of people who weren’t worth my time. Throughout high school and college, I was an insecure emotional train wreck.

Years later, I thought it was time for me to change.  I still don’t like phony people, but I could care less if people are pleased with me.  The only people’s opinions that still matter to me are my closest friends and family.  That’s less than 5 people…and I know they’re not phony.

So how did my experiences dealing with deceitful people become a blog?  One day, I decided to stop being so bitter and angry at the world and look for a way to get over it.  Since I’ve always had a good sense of humor, I wrote down some cruel jokes about all of the people who used me.  At first, it was just a bunch of gibberish and me whining about stuff, but after a ton of editing, I managed to create several short, hard-hitting insults that I found very funny.

Even though I knew I was on to something, I knew I would run out of material pretty quickly if I didn’t write about more than just relationships.  So I figured, why not expose everyone, everywhere, for everything they try to pull on people.  At that moment, But the truth is…was born.

After writing this blog for a few months now, I’ve learned that it’s best for me to keep a low profile.  No one needs to know who I am or what I am.  The only thing that matters is what I think…and even that only matters to me.  People are just reading my opinions.  Most are smart enough to know that my opinion is not universal law.
